Get Ready for Balfour Daze 2025 — A Celebration You Won’t Want to Miss!

Mark your calendars and bring the whole family — the legendary Balfour Daze Celebration is back and bigger than ever! Taking place in the heart of our beautiful community at Balfour Playing Fields, this high-energy, family-friendly festival is all about celebrating what makes Balfour so special: our people, our spirit, and our sense of fun!

Start the Day Right
Fuel up for the festivities with a delicious by-donation pancake breakfast from 9:00–11:00 AM, generously sponsored by the Balfour Superette. It’s the perfect way to gather with friends, neighbours, and visitors before the action kicks off.

Midday Magic: 11 AM – 4 PM
From 11 AM onward, the fields will transform into a vibrant festival hub featuring:

• A lively vendor market with local artisans, food trucks, and information booths

• Live entertainment throughout the day to keep the good vibes going

• A bouncy castle and imagination station hosted by the Kootenay Lake Family Network for the little ones

• Fire trucks on display from the Balfour Harrop Fire Department — come meet our heroes and check out their incredible equipment!

Afternoon & Evening Entertainment
The fun doesn’t stop when the sun gets high — it just gets louder! Starting at 12 PM, our stage will come alive with a full lineup of talented local bands, with something for every musical taste.
