2024 Balfour Daze

The Balfour Daze Celebration is happening again this year at the Balfour Community Park on Saturday July 6, 2024.  This annual community event will be packed full of fun and entertainment for the whole family, celebrating the amazing people and community of Balfour.  

This year’s event will kick off at 10 am with a by donation community pancake breakfast sponsored by the Balfour Superette.  Following breakfast, the day will progress into a variety of mid day opportunities for family fun!  We’ll see numerous artisan, information and food vendor booths set up from 10 am – 3 pm.  In addition to our vendor area, we will see live entertainment throughout from JR Walters while the Kootenay Underdogs set up with a dog agility demonstration, the Kootenay Lake Family Network will be hosting an imagination station and bouncy castle for our younger participants and the Balfour Harrop Fire Department will have their trucks in place showing off some of the amazing machinery that they utilize to keep our community safe.  

Following our mid day activities, the event will transition into afternoon entertainment and festivities starting at 3pm with two local bands; Railtown Classic rock and White Lightning taking stage alongside a more adult oriented beverage garden.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the following organizations for their financial support: Balfour Golf and Recreation, Balfour and District Business and Historic Association, the Province of British Columbia, RDCK, NDC and NKLT.

Any way you look at it, the 2024 Balfour Daze Celebration being held at the Balfour Community Park on Saturday July 6th is worth of a mark on your calendar.  Come join us in celebrating all that is the community of Balfour.
